• courseware.uleth.ca ~ U of L Blackboard site
• classes.uleth.ca/201003/mgt2060ol ~ U of L Mgt 2060 classes site is used for downloading of files
• webmail.uleth.ca ~ U of L student email accounts
• ftp://people.uleth.ca ~ U of L network file-storage spaces (P: and/or W: drives) are available on networked servers for EVERY U of L account. These network drive spaces can be accessed from off-campus computers using a process called FTP (File Transfer Protocol), which allows a "local" computer (the off-campus computer being used by any student) connect to and access storage space on a "remote" computer (the campus file server computer that has allocated storage space for each student account)
  • ** NOTE:  to be able to copy & paste files between a personal computer hard drive & the network drive space on a server, the FTP URL shown above must be entered into a WINDOWS EXPLORER window (which is NOT the same as Internet Explorer, or any other web browser)
    • This URL can be entered into a web browser, but all you can do in a web browser is view a list of files on the network drives
