Rationale

A major goal of this course is to help participants understand the critical role of leadership in the effective application and integration of technology into the learning processes and administrative functions of schools. To lead schools into the 21st Century, requires leaders to have skills and knowledge in many areas. It is most critical, however, that leaders understand the importance of developing a shared vision of the role of technology within the school district, comprehend the change process and the processes for developing a strategic plan to help guide the implementation and evaluation of technology in the educational setting.
